Quality Standard: It Complies with USP XXIV edition, CP 2000 edition.
Pharmacological action: Bumetanide is a diuretic with strong acting.
The main action is to suppress the transfer of solidium-ion and
chloride-ion in Henle's loop of ascending limb, and has obvious
effect to proximal convoluted tubule.
The diuretic acting of Bumetanide is equal to 40-60 times of Furosemide.
Furosemide can not effect the patients with renal damage but effect
on the patients with renal damage, while Bumetanide can do. After
administration of Bumetanide of 48 hours, most of the medicines
are excreted from urine or in circulation when it is renal failure.
Use: The product is mainly used to treat trophedema, hepatic edema,
renal edema, malignant diseases, including oedema, the dropsy in
body cavities, such as chest, abdomen pericardium and etc; also
it used to promote urination when meeting drug intoxication, chronic
renal failure and acute renal failure. It is effective to reduce
blood pressure.
